If there is more than one workstation on the table top of your smart office, detection via vibration is usually not possible. The sensors would affect each other, as the vibrations are also transmitted over a distance from the neighbouring workstation. Motion detection using only a PIR sensor is the solution here. Desk sharing is also possible in this case.

If the PIR sensor detects movement for the first time, it immediately reports this via a message. If movement continues, a “movement detected” message will continue to be sent every 4 minutes. If the EnoSense PIR Desk does not detect anyone for a period of 4 minutes, a “no movement detected” message will be sent once. If no further detection is made, the sensor will then send a message every 60 minutes in order to be able to monitor the sensor continuously.
